New 24' Stelvio
« on: March 26, 2025, 06:51:24 PM »
After many years with a V85TT Travel, I now have a 24' Stelvio. Took it out for about 75 miles today, definitely liking it and quite an improvement over my 2009 Stelvio. Smooth ride, comfortble seat, learning the TFT and either my eyes are getting worse or the print in the manual is getting smaller as I think the 1st service is 1500 and the 2nd at 12k, if wrong, feel free to comment and also post your thoughts if you have one too. Added a nice top box tonite off FB M/place. See obligatory picture

Also, if anyone is looking for a leftover 2023 V100 mandello it red, the dealer has 1 left and then I think no more Guzzi at this dealer

I'd guess 45-50, Ill have to see if the gauge is accurate as the tank works its way down

Jeez I love those.
I bet if I rode one, I’d realise my Norge is an antiquated piece of old dross…
A gloss red one would be irresistible.

Congrats on your new Stelvio. I'm in the process of running in my '24 V100 Mandello too. I know what you mean about the manual. The print is so small you need a magnifying glass to read it. Speaking of fuel mileage, my second tank worked out to 48.5 mpg.

My Mandello has been consistent in the upper 40's. The suspension on mine is a bit stiff but I would expect the Stelvio would be a little more compliant due to it being intended to do light off road duty but I don't know that.

The brakes are great, and cruise is nice.. Motor has good poke too.. My 2 valve Breava 1100 was glass smooth at speed, and shifted like a 125..
Two things I did not find with the new Stelio. This is not a slam on the new bike at all,but my realilty on your post..

Congratulations, Dave!
How is the windshield on your bike when raised up? Mine is quite wobbly.

I've only had it 1 day and still cool in New England, some wobble and I added a visor to it,  seems to serve its purpose

I feel exactly like the guy who’s being shown interest by someone he thought unattainable, but he doesn’t dare “go there” because he knows what he has is rock solid and he’ll wish he never burned his bridge.
Once the newness and the rush of the new acquaintance has come back to Earth, he’ll realise he was better off if he’d stayed at home…
But jeez a gloss red one would be damn nice, I wonder if my Norge would know if I just went and said hello.. :undecided:
What the hell should I do ?
