Due to rain and temps in low 40's and low to no interest in anybody coming to the February Guzzi meet and greet, I am CANCELLING THE EVENT.
 Thank You for your understanding!

Bring your sweetie so she approves of you being gone the day before Valentines day!  It will be at my place on Saturday February 13th at 1130am.

Lots of food will be served, soda, coffee etc.
Good conversation and catch up with friends/other riders.

Let me know if you are coming ASAP for planning reasons.

Address:  219 Poteet Rd. S.E., Cleveland, Tn. 37323

March's will be at Two Wheels of Suches on March 27th (Saturday)  I will be camping there that weekend if anybody wants to join me.  H

Hopefully you can fire the bike up and come on over for some good food and conversation.  Looking at riding to Two Wheels of Suches for the March get together if there is interest for a weekend run to there.  Again will discuss at Feb meet and greet lunch.

I’ve been doing a lot of local rides and Bike Nights for years and haven’t seen a Moto Guzzi at any of them yet. The Chattanooga biker scene is very active with 100’s of riders from all over the area. Some are in clubs, more are out of them and many, many motorcycle enthusiasts who just like to ride.

Why are the Moto Guzzi riders around here so shy?

Tomorrow, Jan 2, 2021, will be the areas annual Polar Bear Ride. Meet in front of Sportsman’s Warehouse at 11:00a with a departure at 11:30a to the Western Sizzlin in Jasper, TN for lunch. Sportsman’s Warehouse is off exit 1 of Hwy-153.

The weather should be dry and in the mid 60’s. Come on out and show the crowd that Moto Guzzi still exists. Stop and say hello as well. I’m easy to find as I’ll be on a gloss pearl white Victory Cross Country Tour, likely the only one in the lot.

I am thing about camping over at Harrison Bay State Park since that is a holiday weekend.  I like to use leave around the holidays to maximize my time off.  So, weather permitting I will be there.

I have reservations at Harrison Bay State Park from Friday - Monday.

If someone wants to share my site with their tent, they are welcome to do so.  Ride to Bob's on Saturday and explore the local roads on Sunday.

Of course all is contingent on the weather.

I would go, but I'm working. My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary the next day, so I'll be shopping that night.

I don't even look that far out.  I'll start watching 7 days out and watch it change 7 times as the day approaches.

We are supposed to get an artic blast this coming weekend with the low on Sunday down to 13 degrees.  If the wind changes and comes out of the south we will warm up.  It is a 4 day weekend for me so I will be going somewhere.   :bike-037:

Weather is NOT looking promising for the 13th of Feb.  I know its 9 days out yet, but they are calling for a cold front.  34 degrees for a high.  Oh Oh!!!

Sorry to say, but the high is now forecasted to be 24 degrees for Saturday the 13th.  Does anybody still want to come to my place for a meet and greet lunch on the 13th in your car, or should I just cancel it?  Your thoughts if you were going to come?  Thanks for letting me know.

Bob, I don't know how much ahead of time you need to buy supplies, but I'm going to wait until next Wednesday before I decide to cancel my campground.

That is as close as I can be and get a refund on the site minus the $5 fee.

If it gets up into the mid 40s and sunny I will still go and plan to ride the 26 miles or so to your house from the campground.
