Took the old chopper out for a lunch run today (NGC)
« on: February 09, 2021, 05:19:28 PM »
I think it was 65 degrees about and partly sunny.  I needed this.  Great BBQ and a nice day for a ride on the old chopper.  Life is good!

Awesome Bob!  I got in 80 miles yesterday on the Road Glide, 80 miles today on the Himalayan, and hope to get in 80 miles tomorrow on the Moto Guzzi.

It was in the higher 50s today in central NC as I’d j got the the Stone out for the first time in a few weeks for a spin around the neighborhood. Great day for a ride and on a great bike!

Not really into Choppers, and never owned one, but besides the famous "Easy Rider" bikes, I always like this one, with pilot Mickey Rourke at the helm... :boozing:  :thumb:  :thumb:

The "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man" bike, classic. A terrible movie with a ridiculous plot, but I liked it anyway!

I saw a rigid Sporty chopper in Reno yesterday. I have seen a lot of choppers in the last couple of years. They appear to have gotten quite popular lately.

Built by me in 1978. Hasn't run in ten years. Needs a full mechanical redo. Summer project maybe.

uy

If that's a '58 frame, it's the first year for big twin swingarm frames. Very nice!

I bought the blue bike  in boxes and rebuilt it.

The Honda CB was in a pawn shop and I saved it.
