JJ- I went to Taos late July. My only "vacation". I was surprised that so many places were closed there from -. I was able to get a Navaho rug there (from Afghanistan, best to them over there). Red River was packed, even to get lunch. Still, We got a Mexican meal at Guadalajara and a Blake's green chili Lottaburger in Las Vegas, took the scenic way to Tucumcari. Then back to OKC. I'll check out that motel sometime I hope if ever in 4 corners. But you can't go wrong with both places mentioned for a bite to eat. Skip Red River for a bite.
