You can rent a Duonix 2 here https://www.ebay.com/itm/136113516799 to reset your light for probably less than the cost of a dealor.

Place is in Stevens Point , WI   might be worth it if in IL

A local saddler could be an option for a leather repair/re-cover.

When the "cultch" stuck on my XT500, I started the engine in neutral, drifted/pushed the bike downhill and jammed it into second gear. Then, pulled in the clutch lever and vigorously twisted the throttle on and off. It broke free after a just a few on/off cycles.

You know those projects that just sat and sat for some reasons? Well that's my 09 KLX250-351, this winter I got back to putting it back together after a couple of years and fixing it's issues it had, and now that it is back together the clutch is stuck and will not disengage. I tried putting a strap on the clutch lever engaging it overnight, but still stuck, next I lifted the rear up and started it then put it into second (first gear it just stalled) gave the motor some rpm's but the motor is still stuck. Any other tricks before i dig into it?

Is the main frame all rounded turns with two big loops where the engine goes?  Or is it angular, and the lower parts of the frame unbolt from the upper part of the frame?

Steve. I found a local upholstery shop in Tucson. For $50. They redid mine with commercial truck materials.

What place in Tucson did you use? I need to have the seat on my Ural sidecar re done.
thanks
Rick.

With the 2 adapter cables included with the the device you were able to reset the service on your E5?

If so, this is different than the V7II's that I HAD to connect to the MGMP (??) cable that lives between the battery and rear fender.

Tom

Wait - V7II? Or did you mean V7III?

I thought the V7II still used the old dash like the V7C or the MkI V7 series like my Stone. On them you didn't need a tool for the reset.

Make sure everything gets repaired in a timely manner. A friend had the water hose connected to the refrigerator leak. $25k plus damage between the first floor, wall, bathroom and the finished basement. It’s still being worked on, after 6 months!

Then there's the multi-million dollar estate in TX that ultimately was condemned after a leak caused mold, that in turn caused permanent lung damage to a juvenile and brain damage to an adult.
