And I usually just cover the key (in the ignition) with my gloves when I go into a quick store.  Keeps me from putting on my gloves and then realizing the key is still in my pocket.
And I thought I was the only one smart enough to do it this way. Great minds do think alike David🤔😂👍

Great guy.  I met him at lunch with Leaf Man and a few the guys during Daytona Bikeweek.

I don’t doubt that for one millisecond Peter but don’t forget the incident with the three guys on the trans Subway train in DC🐝👍

When we last spoke he was considering a BV but he didn't like the color that Vespa Motorsport had in stock. I suggested he get what they had and have it wrapped to match his tastes. Whatever he gets, I hope it gets chained up to the carport when not being ridden.

I don't know if he pulled the trigger or not on the BV. He was awaiting shipment of a used motorcycle from out of state when this mess went down.

Warren sent an update:

Hi Elisha,

I just thought I'd let you and the club know what's happening with my Vespa theft. Actually, as far as the theft goes, nothing is happening. Never found the Vespa and haven't received a check from Geico yet. I would not recommend this outfit to anybody. They're cheap, but I hope you never have to file a claim with them. It's been six weeks since the theft, and we agreed upon a price two weeks later, although it's $1000 short of what it should have been, and they've been giving me the run around ever since.

I bought another 2016 Piaggio BV 350, exactly like the one I had. Same color, same aftermarket parts but with only 1010 miles on it compared to 14,000 miles on my old one. So I'll be ready for the next ride.

Cheers,

Warren

PS BTW, I now have an Aprilia Mana for sale.

Wow, 30% increase in torque from only a 14% displacement increase, and still a 17% HP increase while being Euro 5 complient (assuming the 350 was only Euro 4).   Job well done, Piaggio!
