I'd never DREAM of racing any of the turds I have, but it might be fun to watch others try, and Cooky's in Golden City is on the way for me too  It's the local home of pie nirvana  :thumb:

Well, it's better than the drag races in Aug. It's miserable then.

Prolly will, did they get the track sorted out or is it going to be racing in motocross ruts again?

My understanding is the track is what it is . All track prep is left to the local promoter , the owners of Remington park aren't going to spend any money, neither is the promoter .

So yeah , MX ruts again .

I'm saving up for Springfield , the singles are racing the mile again , and the production class is loaded . Someone on an FTR will win the premier twins class , probably Briar , the other classes are where the real racing is now , or has been anyway . I want to be there when a GIRL shows just how badass she is on a fast track as she heads to her first title . Of course she is the favorite in OKC also .

Can you tell Shayna is my favorite ?

It's hard to beat a double header weekend on that clay mile. And yes, I like to watch Shayna spank the boys too!

The track is not a smooth drafting track like Springfield but it is a challenge.   Since I couldn't see anything when we were there the first time sitting in the bleachers, I can't compare it to the race I saw from the high-rise.   My guess is that it's better considering the experience and lessons learned.  I need to see what tickets are available.   Bottom-line, the second race was good and for sure I'm going back.

A local Guzzi rider is having get-together tonight.  He purchased a table for the last race here.  I'll see if he's renting another table and splitting the tickets.

Hopefully, we'll all be back at the big Labor day race.  For Father's Day, I'll be here.
