Rolling in late afternoon Thursday

Me too. Coming from the South hoping the roads are all passable. Was planning on riding up OK 18/KS 15, then West on 166. Lots of creek crossings on that route, but it is a bit more interesting.
The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

I'll likely be there tomorrow. Not sure if I'll take a bike.  Hope to have a good visit Friday and Saturday night.

Or perhaps ride drive up tomorrow for an afternoon visit and say hello.

A road report from the day's arrival would be appreciated.  Everything's up in the air.

We got so much rain in East Texas that it filled up two rain gauges. More on the way. Why can't we save it until August?
My plastic pocket protector melted in the dryer and ruined my best double knit shirt.
See y'all tomorrow.

Probably coming tomorrow morning in the PU. My three miles to pavement is still iffy on a bike let alone the low temps.

Sorry, but the Estonia Indian Site tour for Saturday has been cancelled due to the rain and flooding.
The museum lady told me that Hwy 166 is closed for a short distance just to the east of Ark City. Hwy 160 is totally open.

All loaded up and ready to hit the road, after work, tomorrow! Should arrive sometime between 6 and 7. Does anyone have any idea of roughly what time(ish) breakfast happens and people head out on Sunday? Going to ride up to Wichita to meet a friend, before heading back home.

How's about a report from someone onsite at CV?  How is the campground?  Or, should I ask, "how soggy and boggy is the campground"?

If it's any consolation, it's been wetter then all hell here in NE Ohio.  Yesterday was somewhat pleasant and dry, but this morning, we're back into rain and saturated lawns.  Still and all, not nearly so severe as places like Davenport, Iowa.  Hope the rally is working out for all of you who attended.  Being with good friends makes up for a lot of wet weather.

Got home about 7PM after a fun 350 mile weekend. A little chilly, but I never got wet.  As usual, it's always a good time reuniting with friends and meeting new people. It was nice to see some 30 something's there. Now, if we could get more 30 somethings to invite their 30 somethings friends to these shindigs, that'd be great.

Time for a hot shower and bed.

Thursday, rolling into Cedar Vale, and the early arrivals.  Some of us had a bit of dinner at the local cafe.
.
.

.
.
After dinner, we spied this fine bit of custom Moto Guzzi engineering, and then we found that guy, and set about trying to re-engineer the raffle bike.  It was a glorious adventure, to be sure !
