since I am only 120 miles away, if the weather is nice,  I might just ride down main street in Cedarvale at 2 in the afternoon next Saturday for a day trip. My kickstand is too hard to use on the SP, so I probably will only stop to put my feet down at the gas station.

I keep saying we should have sack lunch/take out meet-up.

 Hewins Park is closed even to the locals . I won't advise as to any other places to meet up , as I stated earlier , not under my purview . However , most people from WG that I have talked to are reluctant to travel at the moment , so there isn't much enthusiasm for any meet ups right now . Give it some time .

Had a great time down there with all of you. I told Luap that it really reminded me of the vibe that the rallies we went to when I was growing up had. Good people, fun, laughter, and shared passion for these two wheeled machines.  Here are some pictures I took. Nothing special, but I'll get better ones, next year. Plan on being there for the whole thing. As an aside, seeing my photos from the rally seems to have given my dad the itch, again. He's already talking about finding something small to mid sized to run around town on, and occasionally take down the highway. I'll be posting a general idea of what he's looking for in the swap meet section within the next week, so keep on eye out, there, in case any of you come across something that would fit him!

And to make the pavilion even more interesting, the frame structure is very interesting. I have not seen anything like any place else. A neat and unique century building.

Shortly after this a town company was or­ganized and the name Cedar Vale was adopted. Cedar Vale was lo­cated in 1870 by a  town company on land filed upon by E. H. Davis. Davis refused to deed the land to the company but was finally per­suaded to do so under threat of hanging.
