I was always told to be suspicious of green motorcycles due to Revelation 6:7,8

"7 When the lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Go!” 8 I looked, and there was a pale green horse! Its rider’s name was Death,"

My "old faithful"... my '72 CB750, I painted Olive Drab. That counts, right?
Old enough to say I've done it, young enough to do it again.

Only had 1 green bike. My old man wouldnt ride it,  green is bad luck.

Yes, that was the rule, especially with old school Harley / Indian racers back in the day...but Kawasaki capitalized on it...saying green was GOOD and they took it to a new marketing level! :thumb:

My very first real motorcycle (not a mini-bike) was a Honda SL100 in John Deere colors
Bought in 1971 with my lawn mowing, hay pitching, odd-job money.
I don't have a photo of it - but it looks just like this one

Thats interesting , what your "Old man" said.. I have had a few old time "harley types" tell me the same thing. Green is bad luck on a motorcycle. ( I used to have a green Kawi Nomad)

HD superstition was that green would be bad luck for a HD bike.  I had my Recon painted MR2 blue.  Still own my green bikes 2 1991 1000S and a 1993 Strada.

Had two of those R models , same color , both '70 , probably my favorite Triumphs of several . An unrestored one showed up at vintage gathering a couple years ago , made my pulse race a bit .
