Title: 2015 V7 -> 2021 E5 luggage rack
Post by: hurricane3302 on July 26, 2021, 09:37:58 AM
Does anyone know if the 2015 V7 rear luggage rack is compatible with the new 2021 E5? I'm upgrading and would like to keep the rack if it would fit.

I'm selling a rack off my 2015 V7 here:

Just posting so you see it's the same as yours. Anyways, I had a guy buy it for his V7iii, only to return it a few days later. He contacted Hepco directly and was told it will not fit any guzzi V7iii or later bike.

Off the top of my head I too am pretty sure that a luggage rack from a MKI V7 won't fit a III or IV (850). I'm not sure if it would fit a Mk II, it might though.

I believe it has to do with changes to the rear suspension/shock towers and possibly fender attachment points that were changed at least by the time of the mkIIIs.

I don't know if it's about length so much as change of shock mounting angles/points. At least that's what I thought I remembered reading about the II or at least the III.

And on the 850 I think it's related to the beefier one that was previously on the V9.

I had no problem transferring the H&B racks from my V7(I) Stone to my V7II Stone.  I'm pretty sure they won't fit on the V7III or V7 E5.  I've been waiting for H&B to release racks for my new V7 E5, but they're only available for "pre-order" as of today.
