WTB Diode board for my T3

Having a charging issue on the T3 and am pretty sure its a bad diode board so I am in the hunt for another. If you have a good one let me know how much shipped to PA 17202.

 :+1 That might be your best bet.  Sometimes they can be repaired by an electronics tech but best to have a spare.  You could try Curtis at Harper's for a used one.  The same one is used in older Beemers from the same time period.

Joe, so this piece does the job, of the stock diode board, and regulator on my Cal II? Sounds much simpler,  I wish I would have known before I upgraded my bike to the EME  diode board $59.00, and adjustable voltage regulator $25.00 for just a few bucks more, this would have done the function of both!
oh well, at least the bike is charging good now.

I wonder why it wont work with an odyssey battery?

While I haven't used them for awhile as I don't have a lot to do with the older bikes any more I used to substitute an AM unit that was used originally on Massey Fergusson tractors. Something I found amusing. Last time I bought one they were about fifteen bux. Worked better than the horrid Bosch units too.

Hmmmmm.. what up with that?

Note: Not Compatible with lithium iron batteries as supplied by Shorai or dry cell batterys as supplied by Odyssey.

     All I can figure out is that odyssey likes a slightly higher charge voltage .3 or .5, can't remember for sure, But these guys must have had a bad experience with a "problem" customer and cost them some money to make "problem" customer happy. The old stock regulator seems to work with the odyssey just fine so can't think of what the difference would be using the solid state unit?

The charging current may be too "choppy" for the battery to charge properly. Could probably use a large capacitor to fill in the gaps so to speak.
