As the IMOC webmaster, I haven't heard of any changes.
Steven last put out that the venue was having problems committing.  This makes it impossible for him to plan, as months of prep are needed to pull this off.
He'll chime in later.

No IMOC Rally this year. Here's why:

While the Hamilton Rod & Gun Club will be up and running, there are a few open issues that have yet to be defined. And since there's about 6 months required for preplanning and promotion, I unfortunately can't/couldn't commit.

-The Gun Club indicated that "there are going to changes." But they can't say what they are yet.
-When I asked..."will the food service be fully up and running?" the answer was "we're not sure." I can't run the risk of ending up without food and having to make an 11th-hour arrangement.
-Likewise with the bathrooms...same question, same answer. I'm not going to get in the position of being told to bring in Porta-Johns at the 11th hour.
-Rally pins come from China. That's obviously a long-leadtime item.

The Gun Club has been quite sincere and cooperative, but they just didn't know themselves what the protocol was going to be. So I was forced to pass on 2021.

Bummer.

Too bad. The best one day Guzzi event there is. Hopefully next year things will go more smoothly.
Best,
Peter

Thank you Steve, this is the kind of “leg work” that often goes overlooked. These type of events require many hours of behind the scenes effort that goes unnoticed. Thanks again to you &and all the others involved in bringing these events together.
