2017 Bobber
« on: December 18, 2018, 06:44:47 PM »
A car dealer here has a 2017 Bobber for sale, asking price $4,999.  What’s the market price for these now?  It has 2000 miles.

Definitely not a scam.  It’s pictured at the dealership.

$10499. is the MSRP on a brand new unit, but still $5K for an almost new 2017 sounds like a great deal.

That seems to be a pretty good price even for Winter, depending where you are

No dealer I know is that far out of the loop on price.
I'd look a bit deeper as to why it's so undervalued.

I remember seeing a add for a V9 Bobber at a dealer not that long ago that was a wreck rebuild...  Think it had a salvage title on it also. Might want to check that.

Guys it's a 2017 USED bike, $5k seems realistic, maybe a hair low, but certainly realistic especially for a car dealer who probably just wants to get rid of it without sending it to auction.

Yes, these things are supposed to be like $10k new, but they are only $8k brand new on the net:

Of course it did.  Probably still made a profit on it and got more than the wholesaler would have given.
