The Oregon Guzzi Rep. Gerri Jenkins & her husband Gary, and the Washington Guzzi Reps Dick & Gayle Guthrie are riding to the rally from Oregon & Wa.. They are all together at this point and are having a great time. I sure wish I was with them.      :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Had a great time.  Thanks to Randy Teft and company who helped out.  To Seacoast Motorsports for having the demos.

Thanks for the etced mug filled with a bottle of grape juice saying I was the youngest rider.  I think I killed that bottle of welches.

Yes, indeed.

How about some pics??   Surely there are some Guzzi/computer nerds attending!

Got lots of pix, but, regrettably, just now this is the most relevant.

Details (and, of course, many trip photos) later, but short version is Norge just died while riding.

Lots of smart help (as I was clueless ), with consensus being a wiring short.

The Norge is now in Seacoast's hands in Derry.  I'll stay there through Tuesday see if they can fix it (quickly). If not ... sigh.

Bill

Bill, bummer about the bike, hope they get it sorted. Nice to see you and Kathy again.

I had fun at the rally, hadn't been to one in many years. It was nice to meet Zoom, Lannis, Chuck.

Nice job on the pics Charlie! Great job Randy and it was good to see those I have met before, meet some new folks, and see everybody enjoying themselves. I did, for the short time I was there. Cooper had a ball (literally and figuratively) :thumb:! Thanks to the Guzzi community for welcoming us!

Stay safe, John

My wife and I wore suspenders, not red though. The only guys I met that I knew from here were Tom and Lee (who bought the EV from me).

Good folks, thogu, all that I met. Thanks to Randy and Natalie, and Joanne-I know others were helpiong but that's all the names I got for the crew!

I was the 35 year old.  But I believe someone had left earlier in the day who may have been *gasp* even younger.

Gaaa! Just wrote a novel, and an Apple software update crashed my message. Need to get that stuff off the PC since Dorcia doesn’t have an Ifone any more. Shoulda known when I was typing faster than the computer was putting it on the screen that something was going on..
At any rate… an abbreviated version.
Took the Aero Lario in the van to the Kid’s and Nora’s Uncle Rolf and Sue’s place on the Maine seacoast. Hung out and roared around a few days. I’d heard of the http://www.kancamagushighway.com/, a famous road in New Hampshire, so Rolf on his R1200R and I rode to the rally from Maine, via the Kank. Unfortunately, Laconia was going on, so there were Hawg jams, but they were easily dispatched. When we stopped for gas after, Rolf looked at his GPS and said, “looks like 84 miles of interstate..” We turned off in less than an hour. (!) Don’t know how fast we were going.. the Lario speedo only goes to 80.  :copcar:
Dorcia had already arrived and found us a camp spot after Rolf and I had taken the roads less traveled. We quickly set up the camper, and headed out to dinner. Lannis was just in front blocking the horizon,  saw Mac Dennis, a noted small block among other stuff guru, and Tom Au was taking tix. Hadn’t seen either for some time. Gotta love a nationals. Settled into dinner among friends..some new. It *is* all about the people, after all.."You meet the most interesting characters on a Guzzi."
Melissa Pierson (The perfect vehicle) came by a couple of times during the rally to talk Larios, but didn’t take me up on the demo ride offer. I think she was a little spooked by the way it sounds.   Met the x Illuminati guys that built hers.  :thumb: The only guy that took me up on a Aero engine demo offer was (zoom zoom) John Henry, I’ll let him tell you what he thinks.
Seacoast had demo bikes, and were doing a brisk business of doing that.
Unfortunately, turnout was less than I expected, around 250, but there were 19 national MGNOC reps there, more than I can ever remember.
Kudos to Randy and friends from all over the world for running a smooth and enjoyable rally. Food, camping, sanitation, etc. were top notch.
Oh, almost forgot. The AeroLario won a beer mug engraved with “Best Short Block” (maybe someone peeked?)  with a FREE (Guzzi content) beer in it..
Another great rally in the books. Thanks, all!

Aloha everyone!

I'm posting out of NYC at the Rising Wolf Garage.  LLLLLLong bus ride down here.  I should be on a bike in an hour or so.  Gonna play in traffic.  It was nice to see people that I hadn't seen in awhile.

I volunteered to help  Randy and Natalie.

The only guy that took me up on a Aero engine demo offer was (zoom zoom) John Henry, I’ll let him tell you what he thinks.

I know I'm going to regret not being able to ride it but I did some other bikes.  Thanks for offering.  The timing didn't work out.

Chuckie , was wondering if Melissa attended the rally , thanks for the report  :thumb:

Stolen from Witchy, one of the Massholes .. Shirley he won't mind. She'd (yuck) p..ppp...paid someone to adjust her valves. Naturally, they were screwed up. Witchy (red shirt) and others fixed her up post haste.  :thumb: Seems like you can count on one hand the dealer's mechanics that are capable any more..
Don't know if you know the story, but Witchy and others found a Lario, fixed it up and gave it to her..
