I will dive into the cesspool that is FB I suppose… good suggestion Dave.
If you stick to the specialty pages you are interested in you can completely avoid the cesspool aspect.
I’ve successfully avoided FB until recently, good advice. What’s a good active Guzzi page?
:rolleyes:I guess I need a part of the v7 sport throttle. I’m looking for the part that the cables go through into the actual throttle housing. This is the smaller throttle that is used on some loop frames with VHBs I believe. Also I might need the large rear drum actuating arm. Thanks again for any help
As I get nearer to finishing the weird, small hard to find parts keep popping up.I’m looking for the splines aluminum clamp on the 850t rear brake lever axle.Rear turn signal brackets in stock at MG!
In a search for alternative front signal mounts I came across the loop frame brackets. 74a3657558a27" class="bbc_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">https://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=326:a666587afda6e89aec2 74a3657558a27Looks like with different bolts and a spacer I could make it work.Anybody ever mount something like these to v7 sport or any early Tonti?
I thought about doing that with the stems. I have the Lucas signals on hand so I’d like to use them. I have seen other sports with the signals mounted on the lower tree. Not sure how they did it..? Back to the drawing board. Thanks again for the info
Likely an easy question for the pros.I’m using Mr Bender’s amazing wiring kit. However I’m lost as to where the headlight grounds at. It’s a spade connection coming directly from the headlight bucket.Maybe this should’ve been a ring terminal?
Edit: From memory, there's a ground wire with spade terminal on one end and M5 ring terminal on the other. Spade to headlight, ring to frame at one of the terminal block mounting screws.
Anybody ever source springs for the old Koni shocks? MG measured the new Ikon springs and they may fit but are 20mm shorter.
