Designed my own Guzzi decal
« on: March 03, 2018, 12:11:43 PM »
Living in the heart of Harley Country in South Central PA, everyday I see all kinds of vehicles with Harley decals and stuff everywhere. I got some free Guzzi decals last year from Moto Int'l with my order. But when I put them on my vehicle they weren't weather-proof and deteriorated badly.

So being the graphic designer that I am, I decided to create my own Guzzi decal design and have them printed for my vehicles. I created two designs, black & white and color.

Doing my part to spread the word!!!

How about doing it in vinyl?  An old customer w/Airhead used to do cars w/Vinyl or hand paint pinstripes and had a real nice set-up.

What do you mean by vinyl? They are printed on a vinyl material and are coated so they are weather proof.

:1: Nicely done!  Print those on a refective weatherproof material and I'd send some coin your way. :thumb:

I think those would be marketable.  Much better than the Foghorn Leghorn cartoon on the MGNOC logo.   :thumb:

[edit]  It's one of the very few designs I'd stick on something of mine.

I made 3D decals also-which several here have purchased.  Outdoor rated and outdoor adhesive.
If you need a hand let me know.  Just in case you don't know the initial screen expense is an eye opener!

I made 200 of each to try and get the cost per unit reasonable.

Uh.....oh.....  looks like a small business opportunity.  Could become a hassle though.  Just make sure that they can fit in a legal size envelope and have a PayPal account.

I had them printed on a high quality vinyl, with a good adhesive and they are coated with a clear coat that holds up to uv rays and outside weather because I want them to last for years.  I’ll wait and see how many people are interested then I’ll order more.
