Stupid is as stupid does
« on: August 15, 2021, 04:28:08 PM »
I could list all the reasons and distractions, but it's no matter...  I not only left my key in the ignition after lunch Friday, but in the ON position.. needless to say it was dead at quiting time ..  I got a jump and it fired right up and ran fine, but now the check engine light is on..I put the trickle charger on over night. But alas still have a light...
Any suggestions..??
Nothing much better than a Tannat from the Salta region.

ok, this works on a car's computer, not sure if it'll work on your bike, but give it a try.
remove the positive battery cable, hold it grounded for a half a minute or so.
then reconnect it. this resets the computer. unlikely anything went wrong from leaving the key on, besides wearing the battery down.
