The pictures at the bottom seem to show exactly what's described. The milege is only 5000+. With so many unmolested comparable motorcycles for sale i can well imagine his flawed gas tank has made for a hard sell. So I believe this one is real, and probably a steal. Worth a look.

It’s a stupidly good price. So good I’d be wary but I’m not in the US.

As a 2007 it should avoid the dodgy CARC bearing issue and may well have the trochoidal oil pump and other detail improvements of the last of the 2V’s.

If it’s legit and was within 500km of me I’d be driving there now.

Only thing it’s likely to need is swing arm and linkage bearings and a decent map.

I'm sure its legit, I paid only a little more than that for mine, the guy needs to get rid of it, the first guy with the cash will get it.

If it wasn't for the fact I'm skint at the moment I'd ask someone local to buy it for me but I know damn well that I'd be disappointed touring on it because I'm so used to 8V performance.

It is priced at low NADA value so he is asking what it is worth IMO.

It is a 12 year old motorcycle without a large following. If he is truly moving he might be willing to take less. it is not a matter of afford, it is a matter of value.

A desirable Guzzi at a very affordable price..As the ad says, if you can't afford 2500 bucks, don't come a knocking....

That's just the thing. I can afford a new Griso if I want one. This particular one needs some TLC so it isn't a matter of afford, it is a matter of worth and it is not worth $2500 to me.

Oh, I won't. I could drive there and home in a day, but there isn't enough meat left on the bone for me to fix it up and sell it.

She's a bit rough, but this would be a steal for anybody who covets the Griso (me) and wouldn't mind a little tinkering to make it one's own. For me, it's never been about how much money I'm going to lose on a bike, but how much enjoyment I'm going to get out of my time with it. I've run out of space in the stable right now, otherwise I'd be leaving the office and making my way down there at this very moment.

I agree, which is why I am not going to go buy the bike. I don't think I will get the amount of enjoyment for the investment. I would rather buy the $8000 '16 Eldorado in Vegas for the enjoyment and time with it.

Not enough time off to go that far to get it.

That's me, and I REALLY appreciate you keeping an eye out for me! I think this is a completely different animal, than the 8v engine in my Stelvio though.

He said it was custom painted. Probably didn't prep it right and the gas lifted the paint.
