My wife works for Four Seasons.  She gets employee benefits.  (free rooms and 50% off discount on food/beverage)  I get flight benefits.  This is for you guys that don't have access to those benefits.  Hope you can use the tips.  They work.

Sure.     I usually will keep my mouth shut.  She's the employee.  She asks or they'll give since they'd like to be treated the same way if they show up at the resort she works at.

When I fly, I get bumped to 1st, business or extended seating.

We rent Hewins Park and they give us the pavilion for free , does that count ?

Yeah.     No showers at the MGNOC NV State rally but the Park custodian lets everyone camp on the grass.

Rags. Ask for some rags to clean your motorcycle and you will almost always get some.

So, I can just walk into any hotel and ask for those things without renting a room?

If not, then those items aren't free, they are perks included in the cost of a room.

Why people keep being taken by marketing ploys is an amazing look at psychology and how marketing people use the term free to trick people into thinking they are getting something for nothing.
