I could nit-pick JJ, oh heck why not:

I don’t like the bobbed front fender, the fuel filters and the K&N filter.  On the fence about the black rims.  They look cool but I would mar the powdercoat changing tires.  Nortons take mechanical upgrades very well without hurting value, but they got it so right with finishes that any aesthetic deviation is risky.

Fair enough, I suppose...    :boozing: :thumb:

I personally like the bobbed fender...the fuel filters...the K&N air cleaner...and the black rims...

Of course, "Bone Stock Only" purists would disagree 100%...but that's what makes the world go around!

To my eye it looks like a pretty clean and slightly airier than stock bike. I've always loved the look of these Nortons, but having heard the tales of woe of oil leaks and vibration loosened and ejected parts from a long time owner I wouldn't actually own one.

Every time something silly breaks on mine I swear I’ll sell it, but then I ride it and know I never will.  I am a purist about the Nortons only for some reason. And none of those changes would make it ride any differently.

This Norton is only at $4,000 now...and has a RESERVE...and only has one (1) day to go...I suspect it might not sell...

I don’t think it will hit its reserve JJ. And I am a purist.  Acceptable mods include electronic ignition, Reg/rec, shouldered aluminum rims, rearsets, single Mikuni and better front brake.  Maybe aftermarket coils if absolutely necessary. Then just ride the snot out of it.

I tend to agree...Maybe his RESERVE is $8000, or more...(???)

Still a cool bike for someone to FLOG, as you indicated... :thumb:

Agreed. If the reserve is low enough it would be a great bike. I put it as a 6-8k bike.

It could have been nice.
Piss those black rims off and fix the stupid front guard. Also it looks like it’s ass is dragging on the ground.

Here’s a proper front mudguard and an acceptably (to me cause only my opinion matters) modified front brake.  Replacement WM2 steel rims from Central Wheel in England with stainless spokes from Buchanan’s. Original color, decal and stripes but on a steel tank. Brake from Don Pender.

I would have spent the money on a pair of shouldered rims instead of the powder coated black rims. This bike has too much black IMO.  Bike should get at least $6-8K but I’d still want to change the rims and install a descent front brake. That is a mod he should pursued.
