I run a solo seat on my V9 Roamer and keep looking at the rear pegs that wont be used
Is there any reason (possibly structural?) why I couldn't take them off
I can't think of/see one but I thought I'd check with the mighty WG wisdom pool first
Cheers

The Bobber Sport doesn't use those brackets so my initial guess would be they are not structural other than for the passenger's feet.
Am I right that only the top end of the brackets area bolted to the frame? Any the bottom end just hangs free?
If so you're good.

Correct Kev
There are 2 bosses welded to the frame each side that the legs of the rear pegs bolt too and then hang free
I'm 99% sure I'm over thinking it but wanted a second opinion

Go ahead and take them off, they are not structural. I took mine off to install the Givi rack. I put them back on as on occasion I put somebody on back, just two hex head bolts and they pop right off.
And Roamers are cool with a capital C!

I saw somewhere where someone took the rear pegs and mounted them on the front frame where the two bolts are and made highway pegs.
