What is bourbob?

If we're talking bourbon me fancies a double Wild Turkey 101 on the rocks with a Yuengling Premium sidecar. When time to separate the wheat from the chaff then it OGD 116.

OGD is 114 in NY.  Different in PA?

No matter.  Noah's Mill from Willett.  It's OVER.  Bring me a bottle!  And no, Tennessee whiskey is a different category-so there.  No offence intended, but if you are, tough.  Deal with it.  It ain't bourbon.

I like Bourbon,  :boozing: but will be drinking this for a while...

Chilled, "Homemade", Limoncello (Lemon Liquor). :thumb:  :boozing:

Made with the peels of organic Meyer lemons, and cured for 15-30 days, it incorporates either 100 proof or 80 proof high quality Vodka.  We did not make any last year due to -, but brewed / bottled a bunch this year, to give to friends and family.  NOTE:  Always a big hit with the ladies...   :thumb:

I’ve made both lemon and raspberry cello’s both the long way 30 or more days and now with the Sous Vide. The gentle low heat does the same work in hours that a 30 day plus soak does.

Like all things homemade you can Taylor to your taste and make thing that you cannot buy. I do it with 1/2 or less the sugar most recipes call for to let the fruit shine and the sweet back it up.,

Lemoncello is for white trash Italians.... So said the "Don" of my family....

As for Bourbon THE American Whiskey
1. Michters Bourbon is the value leader
2. Early Times Bottled in Bond is a close runner up.
3. Blanton's is fine
4. Pappy 23 is the best of the best

But the all time winner and best balance of flavor and value is.... Bookers.....

If you don't agree, you ride a Honda..... 😜

Through out history, only the "old timers" were sad to see things change and disappear. The young ones have no attachment to the "old ways" I'll be 97 in 2010. I'll be drinking good wine with dinner, good bourbon and scotch, and walking my best friend. {I hope}.
