Thats a beauty! I wonder if he has the original skunk seat? It looks like a largely unmolested bike, in great shape. I love my Cal II automatic, and think a 5 speed would be awesome for touring duty, due to the slightly better fuel mileage. The auto shines in the city, and backroads when you want to relax and just enjoy the scenery, although it will cruise all day at 75-80 on the highway, if needed.
Of my 3 Guzzis, the Cal II has become my favorite to ride, its hard to pinpoint the reason, but those bikes just seem to grow on you...the more you ride them, the more you like them.Cal IIs are not the fastest, or sexiest, or best handling Guzzis, but they are one of the most comfortable riding, and stable bikes ive ridden. Much smoother in both engine ,and chassis than my Eldorado, and much less "tiring" to ride, at least for my crippled old ass.    8)

I was. I'm in NC now. That bike has been at that dealership since at least 2005. He wanted the same money back then and for less than that I bought my 1997 Cali 1100i in 2007. I looked at it back when...

Best to call him. He may not check emails often. Kurt's a nice fellow. Always busy with some venture. Seems to work for him.
