What's For Dinner?

I'm sitting here eating a cheeseburger that was fried in butter on a Martin's Potato Bread roll with a nice layer of Sauteed Onions (also fried in butter) and a reasonable amount of Heinz 57 Ketchup.
As a side, I'm  having oven roasted Yukon Gold potatoes seasoned with salt, black pepper, oregano and garlic powder. It doesn't get much better than this.

Just thought I'd make y'all jealous.

I lunched on my world-famous wine-pickled herring, sockeye, 'shrooms and white onion packed in sour cream, on toasted bread from my bread machine,  covered with a layer of sliced, pickled egg.  It was a theme lunch on account of it's pickled herring season at Le Hovel Rodekyll.

Quick -- someone one-up me before I eat again!   :food

Nothing special here tonight.   Deep-fried cod fillets with sauteed red potatoes, onions, and peppers, steamed spinach, and tapioca custard pudding for dessert.

lunch was PBJ and some grapes

We like simple ;)  And most of the time we add green chiles :D  (not on PBJ, that would be just gross :)  )

I'm trying to swallow $1,100 worth of car repairs. Looks like i'll be having a scrambled egg sandwich tonight.. >:(
