not my fave, but a milestone

First snow at our new house, a couple weeks after we bought it. Need to update, we've done so much work since then. but it was nice

Gone all out Bucky Fuller there? We should all be living in geodesic domes!! Saw him lecture in the 1970’s at a small church in Sunset Maine…

I was hiking, quite a while ago, forgot where, I rarely follow trails. Saw this.
No one around, no road near by.

This is not winter either, but goes along with the Buckyball concept.  I built it 32 years ago and it took me almost three years to complete.  Been here ever since.  In winter it just looks like a huge igloo.

The dome is great, deff provides some unique challenges but I dont think I could live in a 'normal' house ever again.  If we ever move (not likely) I will probably be looking for a huge A-frame, a rondette, or some other sort of unique house.

We were at an Estate Sale in historic Jerome, AZ this morning.  The building is an old hotel...Now, after a 20-year remodel, the Little Daisy Hotel is a 12,000 square-foot home, and it’s up for sale with a $6.2 million price-tag.  But its history is priceless.

Those are the four peaks of Mt. Humphrey's in the distance.  The highest peak in the state of Arizona, 12,637 feet, Kachina Peaks wilderness, Coconino National Forest.  They are still skiing up at Snow Bowl in Flagstaff now.

This year the woods is beautiful with all of the snow and cold temperatures.  It is a good reason to throw on the Trellis and go out for a ride.

Went through Jerome last February heading back to Scottsdale from Sedona.  Incredible views up there!! and a very scenic drive.

Yes, Sedona housing prices are "off-the-chart" these days.

Many people live in the VOC, (Village of Oak Creek - like me), Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Rim Rock, Camp Verde, and other towns nearby...  Prescott - Prescott Valley - Dewey-Humboldt-Chino has affordable housing...
