After a few years of only owning Guzzis, removing the tank to check valve clearances seems like so much work. We really are spoiled!

It all works out even when it's time to do a clutch.

Just for fun I called a local dealer I didn’t purchase from and asked what the bags and brackets would run me.. 998.00.  These are same product from India for 599.00 free shipping and got here in 5 days.  Wow!

Where did you order them from in India?  RE the company?  Or some Indian parts place (like the MG Cycles of India)?

What's with the exhaust discoloration I see on so many REs?

Well I don’t have any issues on the highway! I’m only at 225 miles on the odometer and trying to take it easy and break it in right. I’ve been keeping the rpm’s around 4-4.5k but I had to get on the highway for 10 miles or so and put the tach at 5200 ish and was going just under indicated 70. Smooth as glass, very windy day I was not getting blown around!! Wind buffeting is not an issue with the tall seat and stock windscreen. (HJC I90 helmet). Just when I couldn’t be happier with this bike it blows me away again! 13-14 bikes since 2014 and I think this is my favorite

Don't be afraid to wind it up once in awhile, it's actually good for it. Also make sure you put it under a load from time to time, helps to seat the rings. This what I have done, my bike doesn't use any appreciably amount of oil and runs great.
