It's a back road called Cow Creek Road, off of Ranch Road 1431, about 30 miles northwest of Austin.

I rode yesterday as well here in AZ (V7II Stornello). I was trying to take notice of the rear suspension that has come under criticism lately, and I guess I don't really get it. Admittedly our pavement here in AZ is in pretty nice shape, but even my passenger made comment that the shocks seemed very compliant. Maybe the V7II bikes have had some sort of valving change to the shocks?
