What a dumb ass, how hard is it going to be for the police to find a purple and white custom painted bike? I hope his motorcycle is impounded and crushed and he looses his license for two years. I could care less if these idiots kill themselves riding like that but unfortunately they often cause serious multi vehicle accidents when they crash.

I saw that one yesterday. Totally irresponsible, a complete danger to everyone on that highway. I used to live in that neck of the woods, he was so fast I couldn't recognise where he was along the way, however I haven't been back there for almost 30 years.

Unfortunately, when this chowderhead goes down, it won't be an isolated crash. It'll likely be a misjudgement when someone moves in an unexpected direction into him, since the most astute driver doesn't expect a closing speed of over 90 mph. He'll smear against the other vehicle, it'll be a "tragic young death", and all of his groupies will sob and cry.
Meanwhile, the person that he used as his suicide weapon may well be devastated by his death. They may well be injured themselves (years ago, I saw a GSXR plow through the left rear door of a sheriff's Crown Vic, injuring the deputy).

I got lucky and saw the video before it got blocked. Very irresponsible behavior. At that speed, even if like around here folks are going 75 to 90, the closing speed is crazy fast.
It's is not so much about him making a mistake, its the normal person going down the road distracted by any number of things that I would worry about. Oh well, organ donor material...

I was going to mention that breaking the rules is breaking the rules. Saying someone else is more to blame than I am because I only break the rules a little rings kinda hollow. Try it with your local LEO when he introduces himself with blue light flashing…. Btdt. That strategy never worked for me. I don’t want my family hurt by an idiot, but my past involves some idiocy so I try to be a better example now knowing I needed a reason to get a clue.

And, if dude was riding a Guzzi, he probably couldn’t be going that fast anyways.

I didn't see the video. A lot of talk about the dangerous closing speeds. 60mph is 88 feet per second, so 90mph would equal 132 feet per second. At 90 a football field goes by pretty quick, less than 3 second. How long (how far?) is a quick rear view mirror scan take?

Regardless of what Satchel Paige said. I doubt anything is gaining on you at 90mph!
