V7Sport Motor #s

I had a chance to have a long conversation w/"Mr. V7 Sport" Lynn Crowley at Mid Ohio. I learned a lot, but one thing I should have written down & has slipped my mind is the two letter prefix to identify a genuine V7 Sport motor block. I have one that might be right, but need a means to be sure. I'm going to be scrapping a bunch of the old blocks I've accumulated & don't want to send a rarity like the V7 off the be melted & recycled.

I am glad to hear Mr. V7 Sport is still out and about.  He was circling my V7 Sport but somehow I managed to snag it before him.  He pretty much has the market cornered.   :laugh:

the loop motor # P061902 is the original motor from my Police Eldo. At the time of the first resto I had an earlier gear drive timing (as opposed to the timing chain in the stock motor), motor that was in much better over-all shape, so that's what in the bike. I'll be keeping the 61902 motor to go w/the bike if I ever decide to part w/it.
