VIILemans Site
« on: March 22, 2019, 05:32:24 AM »
What's going on over there, it used to be a good site if you had a VII, now it's so hard to use I don't know if I'll bother.

New "improved" site... I don't like much either. Use the tabs along the top to find the topics your interested in.

It'S not VIIlemans it's V11..

It did get suddenly hard to use, I agree...I think we should all send a note to Jaap and see if he can improve the formatting.

Traffic dropped to almost nothing. You'd think he would notice..  Plenty of apparently auto generated member's locations, though.

I find the "desktop site" easier than the "mobile site."  If you're on a tablet/cell, try switching to that.

And here's a plug for my longest running thread on V11.  It's in the Special Place for Banter sub-forum, and the thread is titled Gratuitous Pics of Girls + Guzzi.

It's the new software version from Invision board. If you browse by the forums, all things are the same. If you used to use the last posts section, it's changed a lot. but after setting the right options, for me it works fine.
I'm running the same software on the Dutch moto Guzzi club forum, and the upgrade was received pretty painless.  On my phone I use tapatalk. It looks like tapatalk is not working on V11 le mans now, well not for me.

Where is your problem?

The content is there but the format is a little less intuitive.

Jaap is endeavoring to help me out, I think I'm a hopeless case.
I cannot type anything into a thread over there and cannot log off.

That is kinda weird Roy, I was over there this morning and put up a classified ad and picture with no drama. Took a liitle bit because of the changes but all worked as it should. Good Luck!
