Looks good, and well looked after at least. What amazed me was the description. Either they have an excellent archivist or they copied & pasted from somewhere.

Beautiful bike and I really want those mufflers (I have the small outlet repros). I'm not sure I completely buy into the no cosmetic restoration though and would want to know what a "full mechanical restoration" really means if I were looking to purchase it, but again, it's always nice to see another pretty eldo.

How do you find out what may have been done to the bike? Any idea what it may go for?

There won't be near enough gift cards to even bid on it. This is the bike I saw in a MC rag that made me fall in love with the MG  Eldo long long ago.

The reproduction large hole "cigars" are available from several sources, MG Cycle and Scrambler Cycle being but two.

The ad says: "Total cosmetic restoration".

As has been posted in the Mecum Auction thread, this same bike was in the January auction and didn't sell. If anyone is registered on the Mecum site, they can look up what the high bid was. Most likely the reserve is set high (though not Cycle Garden high) and the owner is hoping to recoup the restoration costs. My guess is the reserve is ~ $15k.

The auction results from last January say it sold for $13500.

Given that the photo is exactly the same for the 2018 auction as you showed above (minus the 'sold' badge), I suspect someone didn't complete the sale.
