Guzzi sighting on TV
« on: August 27, 2018, 08:34:01 PM »
Watched an episode of Persons of Interest last night and the resident badass (Mr. Reese) was riding a Griso at the end.

Mr. Reese is typically dressed (wrong word), clothed in a very inconspicuous manner. Was he, at least, wearing a helmet? gloves? He does have good taste in Motorcycles.  R3~

I loved that show until it finally “jumped the shark”, then I was done.

I have an antenna, get lots of old shows bouncing around channels. I don't even know which one it was on.

I agree. the final season was painful to watch.
The first two seasons were the best.
I think the Grisio was only in the one episode

I can say, having done it, that placing MG's on television is pretty easy compared to HD. The folks at Piaggio are very helpful finding the bikes and signing releases.

The folks at HD.....not so much

Funny thing about that, JB, is that darn near every motorcycle on TV and movies has to sound like a HD, even when it isn't.  Sportbikes... MX...you name it.

Is that the episode in which the rider on the Guzzi goes down the stairs in an alley while chasing the bad guy?

Or the 4-stroke trailbike in "Rambo" that sounds like my old CR250 Honda Elsinore 2-stroke        :undecided:

Yesterday I went to Netflix to watch the next Person Of Interest show in my queue and it happened to be this one.  I got a smile out of that but as I was watching (flashback scene at 26:30ish) I saw something else I recognized.  The entrance to King Tutankhamun's tomb!  Don't ask me how I recognized it as I've never been there but my brain stores away strange stuff like this.
