Bitubo Front Forks
« on: June 18, 2017, 10:20:05 PM »
Hi All
I have a technical question for those out there with Bitubo front forks. I have a 97 Cali 1100i, The forks have a rebound damping adjustment which I've pretty much figured out and they have a spring preload adjustment. My question is, how many turns are there from stop to stop? If the tech manual or owners manual mentioned it I must have missed it (and it's not for lack of looking.) Currently I have two complete turns from the zero preload position. What do those of you who fiddle with these adjustments recommend? I can say that the bike seems to handle well but then I'm not an expert in this area either.

If it's okay.  Leave it alone.  How mileage do you have on the front end?  Your weight.  I have same year Cali.  Great bike.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉
