A big "care package" arrived from Stein-Dinse today.

Mmm. Genuine Conti "short" mufflers, specifically made for the 500 Pantah.

Regina x-ring chain.

Caliper hardware and rebuild kits.

Sprocket bolt lock tabs, swingarm pivot seals, countershaft seal and shift shaft seal.

Header pipe clamps, starter gasket, rear brake switch.

Rear turn signals.

Battery tray.

But wait, there's more! The NOS head pipes arrived from Bevel Heaven Tuesday morning. Less expensive than having the originals rechromed.

Finally got the brake disks painted. Just need to bake the finish today and they'll be ready to go to Truedisk for resurfacing.

The fork lowers and triples trees are almost ready to paint. Still some prep to do.

What do you use for paint?

For the forks and triples I used Duplicolor wheel paint. The brakes disks were done with VHT Caliper Paint. Both have proven to be durable.

Progress has slowed once again on the Pantah - I need to roll the engine outside for cleaning and well... I'm not doing it in 30 degree and windy conditions. I know... wimp!

"FRA-GEE-LAY - it must be Italian". Why yes, the contents of the box are.

Great packaging job as usual!

Freshly resurfaced rotors. Look great.

Two of them have pitted spots that didn't completely come out. I can see them, but not feel them, so no biggie.

The powder coater called this morning to let me know my parts were done, so I picked them up this afternoon.

Glossy black bits:

Semi-gloss "jet" black rear fender.

Charlie, this thread just caught my eye.
I appreciate reading where you sourced some parts and where you had them rebuilt.
How do you get in touch with Earl Totman? I'm not on FB.

Got the exhaust crossover back yesterday, no more dents. Ready to be rechromed.

Tom does such great work and is a nice guy to talk with as well. I can’t imagine sending disks anywhere else.  The Pantah is going to be a very special bike.
