One of my favorite campouts. Unfortunately I won't be going for the 2nd year in a row. Last year it was knee surgery. This year it is the same time as my 50th HS Reunion. I'm sure the campout would be more fun, but "the one who must be obeyed" would really like to go the reunion. Guess where I'm going this year. I hope to make the Georgia campout later this year.

Will there be another whiskey competition like last year?  If so I'll be there  :thumb:

What? My interest has been peaked.

My memory is a little fuzzy, but I recall some of the the entries were:

Basil Hayden
Angel's Envy
A Woodford Reserve of some sort
Bulleit

Not sure which one won however.  The official pourer, Muley, lost sight of the sample size and we had a hard time tallying the votes.    :copcar:

Also there were debates of which cigar paired better with a particular hooch but I don't recall how that ended up either.

Guys, I have never been to this campground.. is there an earthen ramp or anything for loading/unloading a non running bike from a pickup? I might bring this ambo I just bought instead of riding in...

There's a ramp and car/trailer parking outside the campground.

I may roll out the Ambo and lean a sign on it that says 'loop experts come give opinions/advice' and sit there with a notebook, scribbling.

I got a bit of a frankenbike here, and missing more than a couple pieces.. Deff would like some advice.

Actually, it was Belle Meade, and as I recall the Basil Hayden came out on top.  (Although I did have some Angel Envy Tuesday night, and it's pretty good, too.)  BTW, I was pouring my own so my memory should be reliable.  Any inkling of cigars will send me far, far away.

I've been "Turning Japanese" this year so depending on what I have left I may bring something from the island.  Nikka Coffey Grain is my personal favorite (I'm a corn liquor guy anyway) but Suntory has been a hit with the Scotch guys around here.

I"m going to get there early this year and head over to the Dragon on Thursday or Friday. BTW here is a link to the tshirt. I'm trying something new. Order yours direct. Can customize your selection. Change shirt type or only print one side. the link is for a two sided shirt.

Just show up Kevin.. no rally fee, there is a resto on site for meals, so no catering. You will have to pay for camping

I'll not be there again for the umpteenth time. Wisconsin Rally the same weekend as usual. Guess I am expected to be there. Besides Wi. has better beer :boozing:
I did stay at the campground one time on my way through the area, Nice setting.
