Both.   You can set the size of the text you want to see in your browser.   Mine's getting bigger every year for some reason ....

Using the control key in conjunction with the thumbwheel on your mouse for changing text size is almost second nature for me.

No, the type size has not changed.  Did you remember to take your pills this morning?

I noticed something like that too.  I don't think is the actual text size but the much more neutral background color of the new board.   I happy that this new board will work better than the old, but the minor down side is in its present incarnation it is somewhat more taxing on the eyes to use.   To my eye there is less definition between the various threads on the new board, not bad, just not as nice as before.

Yeah, and I need an equivalent "control +" key for .... well, you know .... I've gone from 24 point ARIAL BOLD to 14 point "Comic Sans MS" and it's starting to be annoying

Thanks for mentioning the Mac controls.  + and - both work.  I'll have to make a note of it.  Jürgen

Boys, I have known how to increase the font size for a long time.  In fact I find I do it a lot these days.  All I'm saying is I used to do that on the old board incarnation, and I will continue to do it with this one.  But pound for pound dollar for dollar the new board is harder on the eyes than the previous incarnation.

Luckily my PC has a touch screen. I can pinch to SHRINK the text. It is too big at 100%. I like it at around 75 to 90%.

As stated above, Contol and the scroll wheel do wonders.

Also, pressing the Control and + or - keys will enlarge/shrink text as well.

There are quite a few symbols available using the ALT key. But they don't work here?

Yes, but you need to press and hold the alt key, press a series of 3 numbers and then release the alt key.

The posts are fine, but the quotations are tiny, their letters about a third of the post letters. Hard to read on my phone.
Is there a fix for that, too?
