Grab! This pic is at the old bachelor pad on the lake.

Man, those Quotas are good looking bikes.

And I was just scrolling back through this thread and thought, "That's a pretty shot." Until I saw the sunken boat.

Is the big day tomorrow, Muzz?

TODAY is the day John!!!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :bike-037:

Although, my  :thewife: has plans for the morning.

Sun is out now but by tomorrow NZ is supposed to get hit with one of the worst weather bombs "for a decade".  Blew like mad last night but quiet at the moment.

Tag. Steamroller!!! Any size or type of steamroller. If you live in the wilds of Alaska or Wyoming where paved roads are few and far between I guess a pic of your bike with a Mannheim Steamroller album will work!

That's steam powered? Cool.   Non-steam powered ones are called "road rollers", "asphalt rollers" or "asphalt compactors".

Wait, that means they were originally steam powered? I’ve always known them as steamrollers! Cool, I learned something new!  :afro:

Good grab John!  I rode 440 miles about 100 of it on fresh asphalt looking for a road roller (I always called them steam rollers too) and never saw one.  It was farm country so even looking for an old steam tractor but no luck.

Nice! Excellent sleuthing sir.

As far as the jail, ummmm, I am intimately aquatinted with ours. May go find another one. Does the Guzzi have to be in the cell with me?

That was one of the weirdest tags I've gotten.  I just took a random ride on some new roads.  Passed one small road roller without getting a pic because it was one lane and nowhere to stop.  I was riding in some very rural parts of NW WV and there was a lot of road work going on.  Because of the narrow winding roads, the flag men couldn't see one another and were on walkie talkies letting one direction through at a time.

I came around a corner and there was a state truck in my lane and no flagman around.  I slowed way down and was easing my way around when a guy popped up from the front of the truck.  I yelled, "My good?" and he waved me on.     Round a turn and there was a huge dump truck and a backhoe tearing up one lane.  I eased past them.  Another turn on a very bad road and came up on that roller.  Passed, stopped, and took the photo.

Round the next bend and three giant dump trucks blocking both lanes with a lot of workmen around and no one paying attention to the lost soul on the Guzzi.  So, I slipped between the trucks in a space that was barely wider than Jackal handlebars.  Lot's of vehicles on the other side.  Not sure what was going on there.  At all.

It is a weird building, just recently converted and still getting restored.
Next target is a statue of a President.

Bonus points if you can get him to ride your bike 😂

I'm afraid I might have to sit this one out.  Too much interstate lies between me and the closest president birthplace.
