Why...it's a 1966 SEARS Campus 50, of course, with it's 49cc motor and three-speed manual transmission!   :thumb:   :boozing:

Go big time and shop for a Mustang.  A really good buddy owned one, and it was my first experience riding a machine with motorcycle-type controls, ie, a 3 speed (maybe 4 speed - don't remember) Burman manual transmission, a hand clutch.  His scoot came with wire wheels, swingarm and dual rear shocks.  I'd never previously ridden anything but a moped with automatic clutch, so this was all new to me.  Took a 'small' step up from riding his Mustang to buying my own BSA 650 Spitfire Scrambler.

Should be some good pics in the attached.

Yes...fabulous vintage American classic!  $10,000-$15,000 all day long, restored. :thumb:   :boozing:

The AMA even "banned" these from Class C racing, back in the day, because they used to regularly "beat" the larger displacement machines!

I read that on a Mustang forum and / or the AMCA forum.  Check it out...
