These are not cheap but for machinists they look like they would make setup on multiple operations so much faster and more accurate https://rosenthalproducts.com/

Mr Pete (tubalcain (sp?) on YouTube was using a Rose Index on one of his videos.  I thought it looked like a good thing to add to my gear and probably an excellent exercise to make them.

You watch his stuff too eh. He has some interesting videos. He's a great old time machinist.

Yup, I've got a lot to learn.  My bike project progress has been slowed over the past year while I added other  machines to my shops.  Just old manual machines, no CNC or such, to make parts and tooling for other machines here including motorcycles.  Today I finally had a little spare time to make the first actually-needed missing small parts for my compact bender on my 1938 South Bend Heavy 9.

I'm no Mr Pete and if have a long way to go, but it's fun carving steel...

I have a 5C index head that works pretty well for me.  I've got a couple of dividing heads as well, but they are more involved to work with.
Anyone need a ~100#  ginormous dividing head?  It's too big for anything I do.
