Fitting a 35mm muffler to a 32mm pipe

Did that kind of adapters on all kinds of projects, last one a NSU Max running a Russian Ish silencer, all still running good :)
my only comment is that doing them on a lathe lets you machine a bigger id step on one end, say 3mm wide collar so when you push the silencer on the adapter doesnt get swallowed into the silencer (with difficult fishing out after...) dont ask me why im proposing this :)

They look good:
The mounting is as solid as OEM, and the sound is surprisingly strong. If I ever run into a nice set of original V50 mufflers I can install them easily since I didn't modify the bike at all.
