Frame geometry data?
« on: July 12, 2018, 09:04:30 AM »
Looking for a spreadsheet of Tonti frame geometry dimensions just for my personal comparison, Loop geometry would be nice also, has anyone compiled such data? I'm thinking wheelbase, steering head angle, swingarm length, etc. I looking in my Cal II owner's manual and workshop data and found wheelbase, but nothing else.

Thanks for any directions,

It's either in the factory G5 maintenance manual or Cal2 supplement . I'll look when I get to the shop.

Steering head angle (and a bunch more dimensions) are in the V7 Sport/850-T/850-T3 workshop manual.

Like Charlie says 750 Sport/850T book. The only time Guzzi puts up a sketch in workshop manual is w/they make a change, like forks or swingarm. Spine frame got a sketch w/each change also. Loop frame you may need to get real early service books. Look to Greg Benders site. I know the V700 frame is different than later Loops.

This old tractor has manuals online.  I have seen drawing on various frames there.  I was surprised at how the Tonti frame has remained the same for the most part. With just the steering neck, tabs and a upper transmission mount being changed or added.
