It is a shower that convinced me that tent rally not so fun. We have Aleve for the back ache. Thanks to JJ for this enthusiasm. Ill be there Datil and pie. supposed to be 116 here today.

I can get away with no shower...I can get away with sleeping on the ground in a tent...and yes, Aleeve or Ibuprofen certainly helps for all those old age, hung-over, aches and pains...
It's the waking up in the middle of the night and having to get dressed...get out of the tent...and take a big horse whizz that gets to me!! (LOL).
Last year, I did the ol' empty Gator-Aid bottle trick...but that too, was a chore!! :laugh: :grin: :wink: :shocked: :rolleyes: :huh: (Getting old is NOT for the faint of heart...) :rolleyes: :shocked: :huh:

Yes...one just has to watch the roads for the roaming DEER and the ANTELOPE... :wink:...but the scenery / roads along The Plains of St. Augustin are spectacular.... :thumb: :boozing: :cool: :smiley:

If you’re looking for a half day trip try going to Socorro for the mineral/crystal museum that includes Coronado’s gold at the U of NM - Socorro campus. Also a great ride is 180 south to The Catwalk. A great walk up the mountain on a steel grate. See how tough it was to mine gold. Do Not take the side road to the ghost town of Mogollon. Extremely dangerous - very narrow 6 mile one lane road with many blind 180 turns. It’s all over if you meet a jeep coming at you. I was lucky last year. Never again.

No no......it was AZ DPS. Nice uniform too. :grin: I told him I liked his office. He had a bunch of stuffed animals on the passenger's seat. I did apologize and said that I didn't want to get lost trying to follow Richard & Fay. No map & no gps. Paper plate on the bike. Hawaiian driver's license. You get the picture. :grin: I didn't have to take my helmet off. :shocked: Licensed & insured but not from the neighborhood. :grin:

The air flights are so so, not good. Flights out of here are canceled regularly or late departures. The local airlines with stations here are understaffed delaying the flights on a daily basis.

You should list that bike on BaT, as it seems they seem to be commanding higher prices these days over the CMV (Current Market Value) as such. The last Griso listed there SOLD for $7300. Check it out. Take care and keep in touch! :thumb:

Those are the ones. The '13 GTS 300 is white with 1650 miles on it while the '01 Jackal is silver with 26600 miles. Either one I'll buy but I'm leaning towards the Vespa. The guy with the Vespa thinks it's heavy. The guy with the Jackal "upgraded" to another bike. :grin: :grin: :grin:

YES!! Grocery / General store...and yes, they have Beer, Wine, and Liquor!
RV Park...Port-O-Johns...Restaurant / Saloon...and a small strip Motel with about 8 rooms...7 for guests...and one room kept open at the Rally for a shower for all the campers!
NOTE the price of gas from last August 2021... :wink: :thumb: :boozing: :cool:

I don't remember that about the cell service...(???) From previous visits, I kind of remember it worked in front of the General Store / Gas Station....I have VERIZON...will check that Thursday afternoon... :thumb: :wink: :smiley: :cool:
