Bikes & Breakfast Clifton VA
« on: May 09, 2021, 06:53:14 PM »
This morning, as my wife is out of town, I decided to ride to my local Bikes & Breakfast (Clifton VA), and was surprised to find 7 Guzzis in attendance. 2 GRiSO's, a 1400 Touring, a Lemans 3, V11 Sport, and two V7's. The V11 was PRISTINE....in that beautiful yet shocking lime green color and red frame. Only 6K on the clock. Beautiful bike.

Took the Griso and threw on 100 miles. Such a great bike. A few Pics.
The Griso got attention all morning. Much more than the Satin and matte black 2014 GRiSO just a few bikes down. To my surprise, it also sucked attention away from the 9RT to my left and the big Ducati Monster to my right.

What a great collection of bikes. Around here it was a gorgeous Sunday, and all I saw were a few small roving bands of Harleys. It would be great to live in a more motorcycle centric part of the world.

Bulldog...this every Sunday?

Remember falling in love with the look and sound of an 850 LeMans 21 yrs ago at the start of a PVR Vintage ride that started in Clifton.

IIRC, Clifton, Virginia only the 2nd Sunday of each month. MD does both 1st & 3th Sundays. https://www.bikesandbreakfast.com/

I didn't know about the Poolesville option.  They get a good turnout?  Might try it this Sunday.

Nice.  Mother's Day festivities kept me home, otherwise there'd been one more.  I have a soft spot for those V11's; my first Guzzi experience was a silver w/ red frame.

What area of Va I’d that in BD?
When I’m at the river house in lancing NC I’m only about an hour from Marion Va. and 25 minutes to the state line.

That'd be quite a ride for you, Clifton is in Northern VA, about 45 minutes south of DC.

Huge turnout the last few times. Doubt I'll go again until White's Ferry reopens - I hate backtracking. The MD Guzzi Breakfast is this Sunday also, at the Airways Inn in Frederick.
