https://www.harpermoto.com/block-12715428.html

They may have the other one (12715427   Insulating plate) as well, but when I clicked on the part number all I got was a 404 error page.

Make one, I keep an old cutting board for projects like that
High-density polyethylene, its easy to cut into shape and not brittle.
Drill the hole first then carve out the shape with a utility knife or coping saw.

IIRR, one of the insulators has a nipple that goes into the dist. body to insulate the screw. They are not just flat strips bent to fit the dist.. You could make it, just not as easy as two flat strips.

Think new technology.  Someone out there should be able to design a program for 3D printing of each piece.  Once the design coding is in place, anyone with a 3D printer should be able to pump out a stack of these.  Do we  have any 3D geeks on this board?

You may be surprised what Ace hardware has in their hardware bins. Look for plastic screw insulators or washers My$.02

What's the demand for this part?

'cuz we're fit'n to pour nylon, probably in 6 months or so. If I had a mould, these could be done on the side with the leftovers.
3D printing would truly be the easy answer if someone has the skill to pattern the part.
Something wistful and amusing, yet poignant.

I thought I'd resurrect this thread to see if anybody found any in an old box or found a new resource for part # 12715427, the outer insulating piece. Otherwise I'll probably go to Ace to see what kind of plastic bits or cheap cutting board they might have.

Dont know what this part looks like, but if someone would post a picture and some dimensions, I will assess if it is a part suitable for printing, and print a batch if so.  I would need a full dimensional definition of the geometry.

I have an inner half coming from Harpers. I'll send it to you when it arrives. I don't have the other half, so I can't provide any dimensions for that.

Stupid me. I only searched by Guzzi part numbers.
Thanks Charlie. You saved me from having to whittle away at a nylon rod.

Looks printable, but at a challenging small scale for most printers.  At the price, I would recommend purchasing
