Transmission specialist needed for V50
« on: July 01, 2020, 04:51:26 PM »
It looks like I'm going to have to find someone to work on my V50 Monza transmission. My own attempt wasn't all that successful. Does anyone know some names of people who really know their way around small-block gear boxes? I'm in Minnesota, so someone near me would be really great, but I'll ship it pretty much wherever I have to. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

I haven't done enough small-block transmission work to be proficient. Sean Fader in California would be a good choice, but I don't have his contact information.

Perhaps Ed Milich at guzzipower.com  He used to race smallblock.  Just north of San Francisco.

How about Charley Cole at Zydeco Racing? Is he still in play?

Charley only did big-block transmissions and is no longer working on anything as far as I know.

I'd give Mark at Moto Guzzi Classics a call and ask him where Sean is working. He'll probably know. What is left of my failing memory says he moved to Pro Italia, but I wouldn't bet on that. Sean is *good.*
