38th ANNUAL WISCONSIN MOTO GUZZI RIDERS RALLY

New location!

Wonewoc Legion Park. We are planning for a full service rally including some meals and beverages, etc. All brands are welcome.

We will again be having a lunch ride and viewing of Joe Blocks fine motorcycle collection.There is an outdoor swimming pool at the park also.

So, there's this note about the rally location:

"Unfortunately there are no hook-ups for camper trailers/RVs. Also there is NO space for cars, trucks, toy haulers, or other vehicles, however, off-site parking is available"

Does anyone have more information about the "off site" parking situation ?

Plenty of open space just on the edge of town by the river,a few blocks from the campground which is up in the hills on Hwy G on the north side of town.

Asphalt parking lot that is shared with the village swimming pool not far from the pavilion. 15 ft maybe.

New asphalt was just being rolled out two weekends ago, at least on the access road from the pool to the pavilion. Should be pretty soft, I'd say. I'll remember to bring a special plate for my side stand. Thanks for your response!

It’s going to be very hot the whole weekend, the website pics show tent camping in an open field. Besides the pavilion and beer trailer is there shade anywhere. I really enjoy this rally but as I’m aging I find I’m not dealing with heat well. But I still enjoy the beverages, and the Wisconsin Guzzi gang.
Just curious any Mn riders planning on attending?

Lots of shade trees,cool Friday night,even if hot Saturday it cools off at night,swimming pool on site.

Yes, like Kevin pointed out, the flush toilets are connected to the showers and swimming pool, so the water may look and smell a bit off, but humans have endured Cholera for thousands of years!

After almost everyone had left on Sunday morning a tree fell right into the camping area about where Stottlemeyers were set up, maybe a bit more towards the hill climb.
I didn't get a picture but I know someone else did.
Had a great time and had good weather until late Saturday night. Rainy off and on Sunday but I made it home without getting any wetter.
My gear should finish drying out today.

Can't beat fun at a Guzzi rally..

"The Kid on the Kermit chair, John (Jwinwi) from Wisconsin in the background. Also in the background, Daugher in Law's little 135 Benelli that she rode from Lake Como (!) Wisconsin

198.6 miles. That little booger will easily maintain 55 except for steep hills with her 100 lb. buns on the seat.

This is the lower campground..

It is amazing to me what these cell phone cameras are capable of.. it was almost completely dark. The upper campground was the "quiet zone." Those that have been to the Wisconsin rally before know how quiet it is.

Nice campground in a beautiful riding area. The only down side is the lack of showers.. just MHO. Good food, good artesian taps, good people, good times.

Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to catch you.
Moto’s T3 looks great in the flesh.
It was cool to catch up with a few others as well!
