'18 Milano - The Farkling - Part 1: Top Case
« on: May 09, 2020, 06:48:07 PM »
Pictures were requested, so here are the first couple.

This is the Hepco & Becker rack and 40-liter top case. The photos make it look larger than it really is on the bike. Only one installation glitch: I unexpectedly had to remove the fender in order to mount the rack. Not a major inconvenience, just not mentioned in the instructions.

I have the 30-liter side cases, but no mounts for them, yet. Working on that...

Nice!

Did your bike come with the side stand already installed?

Scratches head?

Hmmmm remove the fender?

Ya know what I seem to remember unbolting the one on the Dark when I did it now that you mention it. But I forget why?

I feel like maybe it was 3 bolts or something like that.

Anyway looks good. Useful too!

Yes... the first owner was kind enough to install a centerstand and the Givi engine protection bars.

Yeah.... couldn't get the old bolts out, or put the new ones in, with the fender right behind the mounting holes. Easy, but unexpected.
