Set Idle on FI '96 Cali
« on: March 07, 2021, 06:22:49 AM »
Has anyone experience with this? Should I look at valves and timing first? Not sure when they'd have been done last.

 I'm working off this process...

thanks

No way to adjust timing, just clean sensors. Especially the one by inspection hole on R/H side of bellhousing. Valves should be set 1st before fuel is adjusted.

I don't know anyone with an exhaust gas analyzer and I thought most owners set the revs around 1100

Thanks, that's what the picture is from. I know a car mechanic, might have an analyser? Does that little trimmer affect the running of the bike much?

Nowhere in there does it mention setting the TPS.
