On pans with a filter there will be a circle casting mark between the fins at where the screen pick up is located.
Need a strait up shot for that one.
That is a good point. So the circle casting is a mark as to the location of the screen, not the spin on oil filter...? And is that a certain mark as far back as 1974/75-ish...? Even the T had the screen, no...?
I hate to drop that pan but I will if I must.
Per the bolt pattern. 99.99 percent sure it should have a filter. Now if there is one in it??????
Well, funny that you would mention that... the engine is stuck or at least the engine will not turn by jamming a gear and trying to roll it over. Not sure if it is the engine locked or the gearbox. Either way it will be a rebuild.
